Originally built as the Alexander National Bank and later reborn as the beloved State Theatre, this building has spent a century holding unforgettable moments — and today, it’s one of the most unique wedding venues in the greater Tampa Bay area.

Every wedding at The Floridian Social includes a dedicated Event Manager, full vendor coordination, and an on-site AV technician — making this a fully turnkey wedding venue from your first tour to your last dance.
Our venue comfortably hosts up to 350 seated wedding guests across more than 9,000 square feet of flexible event space. Our flexible layouts allow you to activate your full celebration (reception AND ceremony) in our main ballroom, while our private second floor mezzanine offers a bar and lounge space that will add another dimension to your big day.
Our indoor, fully air-conditioned space guarantees comfort and dependability – no matter Florida’s surprise weather! As a former concert venue, we offer a state-of-the-art AV and lighting system standard with each venue rental, professional color-changing lighting system (even laser shows!) to ensure a night to remember for you and your guests!
